Culinary Historians of Southern California Annual Used Cookbook Sale

Our annual Used Cookbook Sale is here!

Items for sale include cookbooks, magazines, culinary ephemera, menus, and more.

Proceeds go towards building the Los Angeles Public Library’s culinary collections. LAPL has one of the most extensive culinary collections in the country, with over 18,000 cookbooks, not to mention a fantastic collection of historic menus and other culinary ephemera.

Parking is available at the ArcLight Theater on Sunset: First two hours for $3 with MARKET validation; market rate after – entrance at Ivar and Sunset. Metered street parking is also available in the area. The market is near the Hollywood and Vine Metro Station.

We’ll be going until we run out of books or until the market closes at 1, whichever comes first. Come hunt for treasures, inspiration, and fantastic dinner party ideas!
