About the speakers:

Ani Boyadjian: Principal Librarian, Research & Special Collections at Los Angeles Public Library
Ani Boyadjian started at Los Angeles Public Library in the mid-1990s. Earlier in her career she cataloged books in Armenian and Russian and was library director of the American University of Armenia in Yerevan, Armenia. She currently oversees several departments and manages projects related to Central Library Special Collections and reference services.

Stella Mittelbach: Librarian in Science, Technology & Patents Department at Los Angeles Public Library
Stella Mittelbach is the subject specialist for patents and trademarks at Central Library in addition to being the cookbook librarian. Before she joined LAPL in 2007, she worked as an information specialist in corporate and academic settings. She is proud to be a Los Angeles native.
