As long as humans have been farming, they have had a problem: how to preserve fruits that are so delicious when fresh, but so perishable. Join Christina Sleeper, founder of Sleepers Gourmet and Master Food Preserver as she shares the tasteful history of jams and jellies and techniques for preserving the season’s best flavors.

Christina Sleeper is a Master Food Preserver certified by the State of California and the founder of Sleepers, a gourmet food company that creates jams, seasonings, salts and gift baskets.

Christina has shared her passion for food with audiences of all ages as a chef, preservation expert, recipe writer and professional speaker. Her first cookbook, “Sleepers California Kitchen,” is scheduled for release in fall 2017.
